Awards and Events

 

2011 - Direction of the documentary film
"The Blue Salon" (19’) selected for the International Film Festival of Rotterdam - IFFR (Holland) and for the
Image Festival of Toronto (Canada).

2010 - Conception and production of the exhibition "Telling Imagens" – exhibition of my own illustrations for African themes accompanied by interactive objects and ludo-pedagogical activities. The initiative celebrated the International Book Week at the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Center (Mozambique).

2010-2011 - Selected along with 11 other Brazilian illustrators to represent Brazil in the 2011 calendar for the Italian company Coesia/2011, Giannino Stoppani Edizioni (Italy).

2006 - Bronze Award at the Acácias Advertising Festival, Luanda (Angola). Project in print media: Investing in the Future. Client: BCI - Banco de Fomento.

2002 - Ranked among the three finalists of the VI Brazilian Biennial of Graphic Design, São Paulo (Brazil). Orixás Collection Project, Pallas Publishing.

1999 - Selected for the exhibition 30 Years of Book Covers in Brazil, Museum of Image and Sound, São Paulo (Brazil). Project: book cover for "In The Land of God and Man. Objectiva Publishing.
